Google has removed Eucharist and Mission ( Lionel's Blog) with the last controversial blog post saying 'According to the Catholic Church Islam/ Islamism is not a path to salvation'. This post was originally a comment posted on the blogs Vox Cantoris and LMS Chairman. It had links to old posts on Eucharist and Mission with titles like 'Vatican Council II and Islam' and 'The Catholic Church teaches that the Prophet Mohammad is eternally lost'.It was an interpretation of Church documents without Apparition Theology (AT).
Eucharist and Mission had over 2,00,000 page views and over 3000  posts since about 2011.It was closed on May 8,2015.
It was a blog for Catholics on religious subjects and in particular  the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus in agreement with Vatican Council II. Catholic doctrine was interpreted without an irrational premise and inference which forms the basis of AT. With this knowledge it sought a doctrinal reconciliation of the SSPX and the sedevacantists with Rome.
The Catholic Church after Vatican Council II , without AT,  still affirms ' the rigorist interpretation' of outside the Church there is no salvation. The dogma is in agreement  with AG 7, LG 14( without AT). AT is the decider.
Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation (AG 7,LG 14). 1 All. Muslims do not have Catholic Faith with the  baptism of water, at the time of death.Their prophet  was oriented to Hell according to Vatican Council II . This is magisterial. It is there in the text of Church documents. It is not a personal theory.
The Church also says that those who know about  Jesus and the Church and do not enter  are lost to Hell (LG 14).Mohammad knew about Jesus and the Church and did not enter.According to Vatican Council II he is lost. This is the magisterial teaching of the Chuch which many find controversial. So Google could have responded to protests and pulled down the Catholic blog.Google has also blocked my e-mail account number and has asked for a contact number.I have not been using the telephone for years. No cell phone or Skpe.I have been living a quasi eremetical life in Rome.
My blog was for Catholics but over time I noticed a growing non Catholic viewership. My Catholic religious  beliefs  now have been found offensive by viewers, it seems. I am not being allowed to express Catholic beliefs for which I provided citations from Vatican Council II, Church documents and the Bible.
Jesus asks us to love all people but to also speak the truth.I love all including those who are on the way to Hell.
Hell exists even though God is love.God loves all people.Jesus died to save all. However to receive this salvation all need to accept Jesus in the Catholic Church. ( Dominus Iesus 20, Cantate Dominio, Council of Florence 1441, Vatican Council II AG 7, LG 14).
The majority of people on earth are on the way to Hell since they die  without 'faith and baptism'.I say this in charity.
This is denied on Internet-reports  which assume there are exceptions to the orthodox  passages in Vatican Council II (AG 7,LG 14).So there could have been Christians/Catholics who did not like my blog, since they assume there are exceptions to the dogma.
For them, like Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani, who issued the Letter of the Holy Office 1949, there is known salvation without 'faith and baptism'.All did not need to be formal members of the Church for him. This became the Marchetti-Cushing theory expressed in Vatican Council II.
It irrationaly assumes that non Catholics saved in invincible ignorance  and the baptism of desire are personally known and physically visible in the present times, to become exceptions. They would have to be known to become exceptions. This false premise( dead-saved and visible) and the false inference ( dead-saved  and visible exceptions to the dogma today)became the basis for cardinals Marchetti and Cushing's, Apparition Theology, the new theology in the Catholic Church.
Since the deceased ( apparitions)  are visible on earth they become exceptions! Hypothetical cases are defacto exceptions! So now LG 16,UR 3, NA 2 etc refer  to visible apparitions for many. They refer to people saved without the baptism of water  and allegedly personally seen on earth. They are physically visible and real ( for the CDF,ITC, secular  and Catholic media), to become exceptions to the traditional interpretation of the dogma. It was based on this false premise and irrational theology that Fr.Leonard Feeney of Boston, was penalised. It was an objective error.Pope Pius XII did not correct it. Since then no pope has issued a correction.
So if a pope, cardinal, Catechism of the Catholic Church (1257 etc) or magisterial document  makes this objective error it still is an error. It still is a factual error. It is a fact of life that we cannot see the dead-saved.They are invisible for us.Yet  the Vatican and the Society of St,Pius X (SSPX) have also accepted this error in doctrinal confusion.
Others are aware of the error and have corrected it. Bishop Thomas E. Gullickson, Father S.Visintin OSB,Dean of Theology at the University of Anselm, Rome and John Martignoni the American apologist  agree with me.
'Zero cases of something are not exceptions', says John Martignoni. The baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not exceptions to the dogma'.
Being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are not exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus says Fr.Visintin.Many other priests in Rome have supported me on this point.
This puts the SSPX and traditionalists in the driving seat and leaves the liberals with no supporting  citations in Vatican Council II.There is only one rational interpretation of Vatican Council II and it is without AT.
I do not use Apparition Theology  so I do not reject Vatican Coiuncil II, without the premise and inference. I do reject Vatican Council II, with the false premise and inference which is the basis for AT. I recommend that the SSPX continue to do the same until the CDF issues a doctrinal clarification.
So Eucharist and Mission in this way was different from other blogs.
I enjoyed posting. Thank you to all who found the posts meaningful and continued reading. I reiterate that I love all people as Jesus asks of us.I have goodwill for all, including those who opposed my blog and all things-Catholic.I continue to affirm as always, that outside the Church there is no known salvation.

1.
Therefore, all must be converted to Him, made known by the Church's preaching, and all must be incorporated into Him by baptism and into the Church which is His body. For Christ Himself "by stressing in express language the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mark 16:16; John 3:5), at the same time confirmed the necessity of the Church, into which men enter by baptism, as by a door.-Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II

Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism(124) and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church.-Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

They are fully incorporated in the society of the Church who, possessing the Spirit of Christ accept her entire system and all the means of salvation given to her, and are united with her as part of her visible bodily structure and through her with Christ, who rules her through the Supreme Pontiff and the bishops. The bonds which bind men to the Church in a visible way are profession of faith, the sacraments, and ecclesiastical government and communion.-Lumen Gentium 14, Vatican Council II

GOOGLE CLOSES DOWN BLOG EUCHARIST AND MISSION Empty What is Apparition Theology ?

Post  Lionel L. Andrades Tue May 12, 2015 9:23 am

Many may ask: what is Apparition Theology '
Apparition Theology (AT) is the new theology which emerged in the Catholic Church with the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 issued by Cardinal Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII.
It replaces the traditional 'rigorist interpretation' of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
It postulates that there is known salvation outside the Church and so every one does not need to be a formal member of the Church in the present times.
It suggests that being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire are exceptions to the centuries old interpretation of extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It presumes that these cases are physically visible and known in the present times( apparitions) to become exceptions to extra ecclesiam nulla salus. It is upon the premise of being able to see people in Heaven saved without the baptism of water and Catholic Faith that it infers that there are explicit exceptions to the dogma, the Feeneyite version.
It is upon this irrationality of knowing objective exceptions to the dogma in the present times, that Cardinal Richard Cushing and the Jesuits supported the new theology, a 'development' of extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
In Vatican Council II, being saved in invincible ignorance and the baptism of desire was mentioned in Ad Gentes 7 and Lumen Gentium 14  along with orthodox passages supporting the dogma. So Catholics have inferred that there are known exceptions to the dogma.
This new theology was also enforced in Vatican Council II  when the excommunication of Fr.Leonard Feeney was still not lifted and he was  dismissed from the Jesuit community. There was no correction issued when  secular media reports said that the Church had changed its position on the dogma.
The new Apparition Theology, was accomodated by Cardinal Ratzinger in the Catechism of the Catholic Church(1257) which says God is not limited to the Sacraments. In other words the cardinal knew of explicit exceptions to the traditional dogmatic teaching on salvation. Also CCC 846 says all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church, again denying the necessity of formal membership in the Church and implying that there are known exceptions.
Magisterial documents ( Redemptoris Missio, Dominus Iesus etc)  accomodate AT and do not affirm the rigorist interpretation of the dogma on exclusive salvation in the Catholic Church.
The International Theological Commission in two papers ( Christianity and the World  Religions and The Hope of Salvation for Infants who die without being baptised) clearly support AT.Apparition Theology was also used in the Balamand Declaration.
AT is based on a factual error ( being able to see explicit salvation in Heaven in the present times) and has replaced ecclesiocentric ecclesiology. It suggests that there are cases of persons in Heaven saved with faith and baptism  and they are physically visible on earth to beceome exceptions to traditional ecclesiology.
Pope John Paul II's Encyclical Letter Ecclesia di Eucharestia excluded AT when it suggested that everyone needs the Eucharist for salvation.Cardinal Walter Kasper criticized it on the cover page of the Italian magazine  30 Giorni for its support of the ecclesiology of outside the Church there is no salvation.
The term Apparition Theology emerged on the blog Eucharist and Mission in response to Michael Voris and E.Michael Jones' criticism of Medugorje. They both use AT as if they have their own apparitions.
AT determines how we interpret Vatican Council II.With Apparition Theology LG 16, NA 2, UR 3 etc become exceptions to the dogma.Without AT they are only possibilities. They are hypothethical cases followed by the baptism of water. So theoretical possibilities ( with or without the baptism of water) cannot be objective exceptions to all needing to be formal members of the Church in 2015.
Without Apparition Theology there is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict the traditional teaching on other religions  and Christian communities.
Without AT we have an ecumenism of return and inter religious dialogue according to the strict interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Apparition Theology emerged due to the silence in defending the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
