So what are we to think of the Beatification of Pope John Paul II? I am just confused on the whole issue. An SSPX supporter on facebook was telling me that he believes that Pope John Paul II will be excommunicated posthumously eventually because that is what happened to Pope Honorius. I think that is a bit extreme view to say the least no?

I think Pope John Paul II had good intentions but just learned bad theology. What do you think?

It seems like Rome only deals with problems after they get really big. Just like they did not deal with the sex abuse cases until they were completely out of control, they are not going to deal with the objections that traditionalists bring up about Pope John Paul II until..........I don't know what......
