Fr. Frank Pavone suspended by Bishop

Fr. Frank Pavone, of Priests for Life, was suspended from priestly ministry outside the diocese of Amarillo, TX by Bishop Zurek over questions about his financial handling of Priests for Life. Fr. Pavone is appealing to Rome, but vows to remain obedient to Bishop Zurek in the interim.

I hope and pray that Fr. Pavone remains loyal to his promise to be obedient, and that this affair is sorted out peaceably and timely... unlike the sordid mess created by Fr. Corapi.

You know, it's like G Gordon Liddy said when one of the political operatives was going to kill him.
Look, I don't want you guys messing this up, you know, like a shotgun through the window while me and my family are eating dinner. Why don''t you tell me where you want me to be and I'll show up?
They didn't have their evidence lined up when they went after Corapi, and for other priests, all they have to do is tell them boo apparently, and the priest goes away.
