Don Bosco in Vietnam...Wax?
http://en.gloria.tv/?media=136697
This isn't meant to be disrespectful, but, is that Don Bosco's incorrupt head, or has there been some wax-work done, so to speak? I understand that some incorruptibles have wax on their faces, so I'm just wondering how much "touch up" has been done here, if any. Never afraid to ask the awkward question here...

Re: Don Bosco in Vietnam...Wax?
I don't know if that was his whole body or a relic in a wax figure. The Italian government made an ordinance concerning incorruptible bodies (well, they don't call them incorruptibles but exposed--I think) anyway they foced them to put a mask on them not just light coating of clear wax. The wax was started to keep the skin from drying out. Other incorrupt bodies' skin turns brown after long exposures to open air.
Pius IX's body was said to be incorrupt as was John XXIII's too. Funny even after Pius IX beatification his body is left somewhere outside of Rome. Most beatified modern popes are in St. Peter's.

What do you know about St. Bernadette as far as her being incorrupt? The online photos are amazing, but I don't really know if what I'm seeing is the natural state of her body, or not. This whole "incorruptible thing" makes me a bit uneasy, but perhaps, I don't really understand it either, i.e., the definition of "incorruptible".

There is a good book call the "incorruptibles"
http://www.amazon.com/Incorruptibles-Incorruption-Bodies-Various-Catholic/dp/0895550660/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
It is very good book on the subject but could have be better illustrated.
As far as I know St. Bernadette is like you see her.
imho: I think Lennon's body is a mocking by the devil of incorruptibles and Russia will not be converted till his body is put in the ground.
