Do You need to Believe in Jesus to be saved?

No...simple as that...NO, I believe in God as to what is written in The Bible, close that book and leave it in the library....

Yes and No. There are three paths to Paradise:
1) Infants & those adults incapable of faith (profoundly retarded, brain damaged, etc.):
Sacramental Baptism in Water, without which, they cannot and will not go to Heaven.
2) Adults who are capable of faith and who have any chance whatsoever of hearing and receiving the Gospel:
Explicit faith in the Blessed Trinity & Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as personal submission, mind and will, to the Roman Pontiff, the Vicar of God.
3) The lone pagan(s) on a deserted island (or elsewhere) who is (are) truly seeking God and would have embraced the Gospel if it was preached to him/her (them):
Implicit faith in the Redeemer.
(It was, of course, the universal teaching of the Fathers & Doctors for many centuries that those individuals in Category 3 would receive the Gospel through miraculous means, so as to move from Category 3 to Category 2.)
The modern heresy is to extend "Category 3" to everyone and to "provide hope" for those in Category 1 who die without Baptism, in other words, universal salvation or at least the hope for universal salvation.
