Pope did NOT say child porn is normal
The Pope did not claim child porn is normal and that news article completely lied about his statements.

Re: Pope did NOT say child porn is normal
Notice how the headline makes it appear that the Pope believes that child porn is “normal”.
He was simply telling the truth - decadent society would come push this moral obscenity as “normal”.
It is also true that “It was maintained - even within the realm of Catholic theology [the usual suspects] — that there is no such thing as evil in itself or good in itself”
So what else is new? Is the Pope giving his stamp of approval to such travesties - of course not.
What a bunch of BS.

Re: Pope did NOT say child porn is normal
Benedict needs to clarify that it has always been taught as an "Absolute" evil by the Church. First the condom statements and now this. Benedict at the very least should improve on his communication skills.

Is this going to be the Regensburg address all over again?
Stop blaming the Pope instead of all the people who clearly don't know how to read with comprehension. The Pope did not approve of condoms, the Pope did not claim pornography was 'normal'. You and I may not see prudence in the recent remarks of the Holy Father, but don't pretend that he has poor communication skills when you know very well the media bias against him. They would jump on anything he said and twist it to make him look bad.

Marian Librarian, the only way the liberal news media can twist Benedict's own comments is if Benedict is vague and unclear in what he says.
Benedict said that there was a "basis" for the arguement of condom use. This is something he should NOT have said.

Lame. You'd think people would learn, but they continually get sucked in.
Despite protestations to the contrary, they fight like hell for Magisterium of the Media.
