Question about ads. I want input from forum members.

I think most of you have noticed that the widgets have Google ads on them. They tend to be of religious nature, I have not seen any indecent ads in regards to chastity, however I have seen some Protestant sites and other weird religious stuff.
Do you think I should get rid of the widgets altogether because of this or can we live with those little Google ads?

I don't have any problem with the ads themselves but those widgets are making navigation through the forum so slow. Many pages time out before they load.
Besides pulling my hair out I don't know how to deal with this.
It could be just this old computer of mine but every other site is fine.

Yeah, they do slow things down.
