And look, he even referenced Lumen Gentium 13-16 … hmmm. He also said, in effect, when mentioning the authority of the Church (through Peter), “He who hears you, hears Me”; and that Catholics accept all of the truths of our faith as the Church holds and teaches them. He gave the specific examples of John 3:5 on water baptism and on our Lord’s words on the Eucharist and eternal life - and how both sacraments are necessary. He then explained how the Church, through the authority of Peter, understands these divine precepts.

He also said that we have the Church and the Protestants have their private opinions on big theological questions they are not equipped, or are not competent in the least, to answer.
