From the Benedictine Abbey that defends Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus: Brother Benedict, Rest In Peace July 27, 1954 - May 9, 2001
Brother Benedict Hirsch, O.S.B., 56, of Saint Benedict Abbey in Still River, Mass., died peacefully on Monday, May 9, in the ICU of University Hospital at the Boston Medical Center, Boston.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Saint Benedict Abbey, 252 Still River Road, Still River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Abbey on Wednesday May 18 at 11:00 a.m.
