Hello everyone this is Rasha Lampa, formerly of Pascendi's Catholic Forum. Do to the fact that Pascendi's forum disappeared off the face of the Earth, I am starting this forum for everyone. This forum will be EENS friendly and MRyan is welcome as well!

Pascendi if you would like to join us here as well and take a break from always being the guy in charge I would love to have you.

Please be patient with me as I am still trying to figure out how to be the administrator of a forum!

Well it looks like I was able to create a new username at Pascendi's forum and notify everyone about this new forum. I wish we could have had some notice about this. Oh well....the show must go on.

Hi Rasha,

Wooo that was a close call. Lucky I visited Pascendi's just now before it closed completely. I had no other means of contacting you guys. Well at least Paul let your account stay open to inform us all. I sure hope he keeps it there a while til others see your post. God bless him and Giod bless you Rasha for starting this.

A little bit of tweaking to do here I see but all in good time. Smile

Yep. Think there's great potential here.
I'll tell you I learnt so much on Pascendi's and will be sad to see it go.
Maybe Paul was doin a bit of cleaning up and hit a few wrong buttons.
I dunno. wishful thinking maybe.

Wow! That was quick.

Paul informed me in a couple of angry emails that he was deleting the forum. I think my remarks defending Elisa were too much for him, not to mention the whole Mryan ordeal. Oh well. I just thought I'd explain a little. Good luck here.

You click on "profile" on the top of the page under the main forum picture, then you will find a selection that says "avatar." Then what you have to do is find a URL link to a picture that is already online (do this by searching google image search and then right clicking and selecting "copy link location") Then paste that URL link to the photo in the place where it asks you for the image URL.

If you have an image on your computer you'd like to use you can get a URL for the picture here:

Rasha, I noticed that the clock appears to be set at EST + 5; can you adjust? Since most of the posters will be in the US, can you set it for a US time zone?

RashaLampa, Will all sede-vacantists be welcomed to give their position in the "Refuting Sede-vacantism" thread? Not that I'm a Sede-vacantist.

I just think a friendly debate/discussion between sede-vacantists and non-sedevacantists in that part of your Forum would be a good idea.

Also, does that thread have to be called "Refuting Sedevacantism" ? The Title seems to be rather biased. Couldn't it be called "Debating Sedevacantism" ?

This was very nice of you to do, Rasha.

While I can't promise that I will "be praying my guts out" for you, I will say some extra prayers for you. You all are already in my regular daily prayers.

But when someone does something extra for the Lord like this site, the evil one will try to attack and will tempt. Not just talking about internet things, all bold or public ministries for the Lord, especially those that seek to spread His truth.

So we should all pray for Rasha. And we should all pray for our old friend Paul. I know he is a good man and, with the grace of God, perhaps one day he will join us here.

PS You asked about the color scheme. This is good. I was on a nice site this past year that had a lighter gray background and it was difficult for my old eyes to read the white text against it.

Catholic_Truth- Yes, sedes are welcome. I changed the name of that sub-section as well.

MRYAN, I was mistaken, I had set it for GMT -5 when I meant to set it for GMT +5 (Eastern Standard Time). I just fixed it.

Does anyone know how you ensure that the google bots are crawling this forum so that we get submitted to the search results?

Any other suggestions for generating traffic would be welcome as well.

Generating traffic should be easy if you don't care about the "quality" of the traffic. How selective do you want to be?

Forum Rules:

#4 No posting of information related to you or another forum member's personal identity including but not limited to: Having an avatar with your real picture on it, having your last name in your username, posting your e-mail address in a thread, posting pictures of your family, etc.

Not sure what the intent is in prohibiting the use of one's last name in one's user name. Some of us have no problem with that.

Am I reading that right?
