That place is really scary.
I saw that "pax" weighed in with a dogmatic reply ... could it be same "Pax" from the old forum? If it is, maybe someone can give him an invite.

One of the gifts that keeps on giving at CAF is the creativity of some of the posters when it comes to identifying their religion, or renaming Catholicism; case in point, the poster who asked the question self-identifies as "Universal Temple of the Holy Spirit (Catholicity)." One of the worse offenders in the responses labeled herself or himself as "Catholic Mormon. Spiced for flavor."
I'm glad that this response:
"Up until Luthers revolutation it was a FACT!
Today, all salvation flows THROUGH the Catholic Church by virtue of a common Triune Baptism and a common Beleive in the Triune Godhead.
At some point after Luther and Calvin, when other denominations became more common; the understanding had to change to accommidate the new "christian Faiths.""
--was picked up on by AnneElliot. It's one of those glaring insanities that needs to be pointed out and refuted for the benefit of those of good will who might be browsing the thread.

Michael Shermer, a self-professed agnostic, wrote an article some time ago about a "Catholic atheist"!

It is so frustrating to read the slop on CAF, ever since they changed the rules to "no agenda" I guess that is why they kicked me out.
They kind of remind me of the eagle on the Muppet show.
